I'm using this layout by ruemadame over at my comm coolmyheart. I modified the CSS to push the sidebar and entries to the right side to give me more space for the background image on the left. I'm having a bit of a problem with getting Firefox and IE to match up.
There's more space between the top of the content in Firefox and no such issue in IE which follows my margins.
It's almost as if Firefox adds its own padding in the header.

Hey there, this is my first time posting, and the first time I've needed help with a layout. ^_^

Okay... so, the left part of my layout seems to spill off of the screen, cutting off portions of my userpics/username

Im having problems with this layout when someone with a bigger resolution tries to use it. Example resolutions: 1440x900, 1680x1050. Is there a way to adjust the layout so it will automatically get adjusted to the user resolution and not shift to the right like this when someone has a bigger resolution than 1280x1024? Would there be a logical explanation as to why a header I made in Photoshop looks different in Internet Explorer? I use Firefox and I made sure all of the colors match the layout. They do, perfectly. When I use Internet Explorer, the colors of my hand-made header are darker ( Read more... )
